Here are 6 little tips for looking after your Mental Health this festive season:
- Ask for Help! Be realistic with what you're capable of and don't be afraid to seek help.
- Media Hype! Don't compare what you have with what you see on social media or adverts.
- It is okay to be alone! Be productive and make a list of things that will keep you busy and make you happy. Learn something new... YouTube offers plenty of 'HOW TO' videos.
- Look after number 1! It is okay to prioritise what is best for you, even if others don't agree.
- You cannot please everyone, and trying to is an unachievable and impossible task.
- Forward planning! The festive period can be a stressful time of year. Know your triggers and make achievable plans to help you get through it.
