Unity Works
This hall was built for the Wakefield Industrial Co-operative Society and has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment to create a multi-purpose venue.
Windows in the main hall required black-out as well as more standard sized windows in meeting rooms.
The solution needed to be sympathetic to the interior design of this unique building.
Dearnleys proposed flame retardant black-out curtains fitted to heavy duty cord operated tracks with roller gliders to ensure easy operation. These were fitted to all windows in the main hall space.
For the meeting rooms Astralux 3000 roller blinds were used with a FR dim-out fabric.
This project also included the repair and recovering of 2 nbr awnings.
