St Paul’s Place
St Paul’s Place enjoys a spectacular views over the renowned Peace Gardens and Millennium Square in Sheffield.
The building is rated as BREEAM Excellent and the client required external shading to make maximum use of the roof terrace for tenants of the building.
The requirements were that the shading should integrate with the building and be quick to deploy and retract.
Dearnleys supplied and installed Astralux 7000 awning system fitted to custom-made brackets.
The awnings were supplied using a hardware colour which matched the louvres of the plant room and the fabric was matched similarly.
The three awnings were individually motorised but operated as a group by radio controlled handset with a wind sensor to ensure they retracted if the wind speed exceeded their operational limits.
