This new build, 2 block 7 storey addition to the university added some 9,500 square metres of office and learning space.
Costing some £30m this new building was designed to house the Faculty of Development and Society and will primarily focus on training teachers and be a home for the Sheffield Institute of Education.
Solar shading and glare control was required throughout the building.
Dearnleys supplied and installed Astralux 3000 roller blinds with a variety of fabrics and operating methods:
In addition fixed screen panels were fitted to shaped glazing and a Astralux motorised rooflight roller blinds.
