Pinderfields Hospital

Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield is a new £330m PFI funded hospital providing 88,000m2 of floor space over five floors. Dearnleys were involved from the planning stage right through to site hand-over.

This hospital needed cubicle tracks fitted throughout the building along with window blinds to reduce heat and light gain and provide privacy.

Dearnleys proposed the Silent Gliss 6100 cubicle track system, probably the most widely used system in the healthcare market. Dearnleys have decades of experience in site surveying, manufacturing and installing this cubicle track system.

In total over 4,500m of cubicle track was installed on this site.

Dearnleys proposed their Astralux 1000 Vertical blind system which is a proven blind system in the healthcare sector. In total 600 Astralux vertical blinds were installed on this site.

For some windows curtain tracks were preferred to vertical blinds and Dearnleys installed 1,100m of aluminium curtain tracks.
