This state-of-the art performing arts academy is part of New College in Pontefract.
The specification called for stage tracking and curtains to the main performance area. In addition other tracks and curtains were required along with a backdrop.
Dearnleys worked with the builders on this design and build project to help with the specification of the tracks and curtains and proposed Silent Gliss 5300 electric curtain tracks on which they suppllied and fitted Accolade black, flame retardant, full height curtains.
To the sides of the stage curved, manual tracks were shaped and installed. These were hung with the same curtain spec as the main stage curtains.
The backdrop was made using extra wide, white, flame retardant cotton to create a seamless finish.
