The Palatine Centre at the University of Durham opened in Summer 2012 and houses key student services and the University’s headquarters on one site, along with Durham Law School. The Centre has open plan areas on Level 1 which was to be re-configured to create individual cellular offices. Designed with sustainability in mind, the integration of solar shading helped achieve ‘excellent’ rating in their BREEAM assessment.
