Freemans Reach is a new development on the banks of the river Wear in Durham. This 8,000 square metre office development uniquely draws 75% of its power from an Archimedean screw-powered hydro-turbine, so utilising the renewable energy of the river.

 

Dearnleys provided 136 nbr Astralux 3000 roller blinds to windows of a Government office within this building to help control heat and light gain and so do their bit to managing the energy in the building.
