National Trusts Dearnleys

16 Jul 2013

When the National Trust was planning the refurbishment of a stable block at Nostell Priory they needed expert advice on how to control glare. With over eight decades of solar shading and light control experience Dearnleys designed solutions for both the rooflight and windows in this new multi-use space.

Dearnleys supplied and installed 8 number remote control Astralux 5000 tensioned roof blinds running horizontally across the base of the rooflight to filter the natural light. In addition manually operated Astralux 3000 roller blinds were supplied and installed to the vertical glazing to allow for projection equipment to be used in this space.
